The Treasure Guide is a resale directory. It was developed in 2009 by Tim Borders. Since then, the guide has grown abundantly. Starting out as a small flyer bridging two cities, it is now a beautiful magazine stretching across three states. This has been made possible by the many resale shops along our eastern coast, the hard work of our Treasure Guide team, and the faithful treasure hunters out there.
From the start, we realized our mission is three-fold… Support locals, help families, and encourage…
We help support participating, locally-owned resale shops by providing them with a viable platform to advertise their business/organization that affordably fits within their budget. Shops are part of a cooperative alliance equally sharing necessary store information with potential patrons. Additional ad reservations are made available to those who need more space to celebrate.
By providing a list of resale shops, families now have a directory to amazing finds at reasonable prices. There is nothing more important in this world than family. The Treasure Guide offers direction to clothing, housewares, tools, furniture, gifts, and more. Many treasures are in hard-to-find locations, so our guides also provide colorful maps to help navigate hopeful travelers.
Our guides include encouraging quotes, verses, and projects to hopefully motivate others toward greatness. We believe that hard work, dedication, and selfless habits will give other people and generations the assistance they need to do the same. It has to start before it can continue. We are each uniquely created and equally amazing. Let’s make people laugh, help them to live, and teach them to love.
